Please join us for a community meeting for proposal to build a Miracle Field @ Skinner Park to serve special needs children and young adults.   The field will also benefit neighborhood children.

Also please join us for the Skinner Park Advisory Council meeting which will follow the community meeting for the Miracle Field.

West Loop Craft Beer Fest – May 25

Hi Everyone,

We are posting info for the West Loop Craft Beer Fest to be held on Saturday May 25 next to the French Market on Clinton St. Between Lake St. and Washington St.  Part of the proceeds will help to fund free special events @ Skinner Park and other parks in the West Loop.  So if you love craft beer, this is a great way to sample beers from over 26  ( the number has grown to 35 ) craft breweries.

West Loop Craft Beer Fest - May 25 from Noon - 5 PM.
Clinton St. Between Lake St. And Washington St. (next to the French Market)

Volunteer Sign-up for West Loop Craft Beer Fest:
The organizers are also looking for volunteers. Volunteers gets free admission to the fest.
There is a sign-up form for those that want to help with the Beer Fest.  60 people are needed to handle various jobs for two shifts. Please sign up here http://bit.ly/12c4jJc

Eggstravaganza 2013 for Kids @ Skinner Park

Bring the kids out for the Skinner Park Eggstravaganza on March 30! Egg hunt and fun for ages 12 and under.  Featuring Egg Hunts, Jumping Jack, Arts and Crafts, Games and Raffle.   If you also have a dog, join us for the doggie egg hunt on March 23, see other post.

3rd Annual Doggie Egg Hunt – March 23, 2013

Join us for the 3rd Annual Doggie Egg Hunt @ Loomis St. Gardens.  Bring your pup out for   some fun hunting for eggs filled with dog treats and prizes.

  • DATE: Saturday, March 23
  • TIME: 1:00pm to 2:30pm
  • WHERE: Loomis St. and Monroe St.
Please note that dogs must be leashed to participate in the egg hunt.  Bring your own basket/bag to hold the eggs that your pup finds.   If you also have children, be sure to join us on March 30 for the children’s Eggstravaganza.
