National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is Saturday, Sept 27. Join volunteers working to improve and clean public parks all across the US. Skinner Park and Loomis St. Gardens are official volunteer sites for NPLD.
Build new flowerbeds and plant perennials and shrubs as part of a multi-year garden restoration project for both the Tranquil Garden within Skinner Park and the entire Loomis St. Community Garden area.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all volunteers, as will all tools and gloves. No experience required, all training is provided.
Volunteer from one to four hours, all are welcome.
