Save the date! The Chicago Park District’s Nature Oasis team is back with Toddlers, Tunes, and Turtles at Skinner Park! Bring a picnic and join in the fun with live animals and sing-alongs.
Join us for performances of Goose & Gert and the 1st workshop to design a Nature Play Space for Skinner Park. We need kids to help design their Nature Play Space!

We have been getting questions about whether grilling and fire pits are allowed at Skinner Park. Grilling/BBQing is prohibited at Skinner Park per the posted signs. Under the Governor’s Executive Order, all park buildings and playgrounds are closed until April 7, 2020 but other outdoor park areas are open for people to take a walk, etc. provided people observed the social distancing parameters of 6 feet.
